Danish irony

Look at my new text book from Danish class. This morning, I started learning Danish at work, rather than the two nights a week, which I found very inconvenient.

For those who have no idea about Danish, the title translates to: 'Danish is not so difficult'

Hehe. Now that is a sense of humour (at least I hope it's meant to be!)

I'll call that optimistic point of view LOL

I think you're right, writer. Coming from a language that has: en gammel fabrik og to gamle fabrik, og en lille ø og to små øer, I think it's grasping at straw-er :)

Kelli - now THAT was funny!

NQD - apparently this book is part of a series - and rumor has it the title of the next is the same, minus the saa part of it!

The titles do go from "not so difficult" to " a little difficult" to "difficult"...

I am on "a little difficult".

Ye Gods...! Am I glad I learned Danish the natural way.

Titles like that really make me want to weep. Can they get more condescending?!
