Does that mean your Danish lessons aren't going well, or your work isn't going well?

My Danish lessons are going..okay but it would help if I could actually get to them more often. You can place your money on a Monday or Wednesday being chaotic at work and, as they've retrenched a few people lately, I really can do the, 'Sorry, must dash to Danish class' bit. Tomorrow looks as chaotic too :( Det går skit already...

Here's what you need to say at work: "I'm sorry, but I must leave, as I am desperately committed to learnign Danish as quickly and as perfectly as possible, because I love living and working here more than anythign else in the world EVER!" And then bring in 7-11 croissants in the morning for the whole office. Retrenchment for you will never cross their minds! (Today's professional advice in entirely complimentary.) How often does your class meet? Down here, we go two nights per weeks, though some sprogskoler meet once a week, and I know of one that's every other Saturday. I cannot figure out how those people leanr a thing meeting twice per month...
