If you're after a cheap bicycle...

This is the place to go. NQDII recently bought an extra bike to leave at the other end of the island to save catching a bus from the station to work or a 20 minute walk after an hour's trip on three trains. All up, including the DKK20 to cut the old chain off, it cost DKK520. Not bad when you consider we paid around DKK4000 each for new bikes at the beginning of the year.

ok is this like a Danish version of EBAY???

which I admit, moving to DK, did help with my EBAY Addiction! It has been cured!

You too? Yes, my addiction was cured not long after arriving when my bargain purchase (a shirt) had a whopping moms skat whacked on it when I picked it up from the post office! There is a Danish type of Ebay but I can't remember what it is called.

It's called QXL. At least that's what I normally use when I buy stuff from the Danish auction market.

The bikes sold here are the ones found by the police - that's why they're cheap :)

Welcome orangeorange. And yes, I must say it is rather nice being here - especially today: 28C, no wind and not a cloud in the sky. Of course the weather would fine up because I go back to work tomorrow :(
